Weaver Aircraft Company--WACO--has produce some iconic aircraft. In fact, their YMF-5 design is still being produced as a hand-built luxury aircraft for today's discriminating pilot/owner.

Some prefer the ATO "Taperwing," while others admire the UPF-7. I've always been partial to the cabin-class SRE. Sleek, powerful and graceful, the airplane exudes character and breeding.

Not sure if this is an ARE or an SRE (Jacobs or P & W engine). But the photo does show the sleek lines and good proportions.

 

Beautiful and quite clean for a fixed-gear biplane.
